Thursday night TNA Impact

Here is the rundown on tonight's show. Tomko wrestles Kurt Angle Awesome Kong speaks for the first time, Scott Steiner teams up with Petey Williams, and sharkboy has a new attitude.

The show starts out with AJ Styles begging Kurt Angle to not take the match against Tomko, which sets Kurt off with him threatening Styles, and Styles defends Tomko a lead into separating the Angle Alliance perhaps. So Jim Cornette creates even more problems by making AJ Styles the guest special referee for this match. And in the end its Christian Cage interfering to help Tomko prevail in this match. What will happen next stay tuned.

Then the ongoing feud with Team 3D with Johnny Devine and the Motor City Machine Guns with Jay Lethal. Team 3D comes out calling MMG little boys and references where they came from ECW, WWE and now TNA. The big build up for the upcoming match at the pay per view Against All Odds.

But in the back we see the MMG mocking Team 3D dressed appropriately and actually looking just like their hated foes. So as usual Team 3D comes back and starts the pounding with the kendo stick and such. The action continues and they take it to the ring of course.

It becomes a bloody mess as they knock them around and hit the steel steps as well as put the whole group through the tables.
The setup is that if the team of Jay Lethal and Motor City Machine Guns lose then the X Division goes away, which I would rather not see as I think its a good division and makes this company unique. Or if Team 3D lose then Team 3D has to get down to 275 lbs to compete.

This one could go either way as the big push has been that Team 3D wants to eliminate the X Division permanently.

Scott Steiner teams up with Petey Williams and they take on the Rock n Roll Infection which is basically a rip-off of the rock n roll express is what I see except that they do air guitar which unless you are a rocker looks pretty ridiculous to me. They both bring out there perspective cases for their title matches the X division and World Title shot.

Both Steiner and Williams looks good as a team until Petey starts to do Steiners moves like the Arm drop and the push ups. The match continues and the other team gets the upper hand to allow Scott to get in and do the beating. And not to be outdone he does his own moves including the arm drop and push ups. After that he takes both cases and walks aways so the winner is the Rock n Roll Infection by a distraction of Steiner nailing Williams with the breifcase and then leaving...who knew.

Tonight was going to be the big signing of Samoa Joe. Next up was a filler match between Hernandez from LAX and Kip James of the Voodoo Kin Mafia.

This match was over before it started and I will just say that the buildup was about an upcoming match with his father Bullet Bob Armstrong the father of Kip James as his partner. The match ended with Roxy Leviex throwing powder in Kip's eyes and that was it. So Kip makes the dreaded statement telling her that she is worthless.....so and then the Mcmahon phrase "You're Fired".
Other matches included Judas Mesias and Corey Davis Mesias wins this one since he is getting this push for upcomig match against the monster Abyss in the Barb Wire Massacre 2 match at Against All Odds.

On a side note there is a rumor that D'lo Brown has signed with TNA wreslting so we'll see if that becomes reality.

Shark boy is trying to be Stone Cold Steve Austin with him becoming a badass which is not a bad idea considering that he has gotten a beating for that last three months. I don't like it when a push is for someone who is just trying to be a has been instead of creating his own gimmick. Who knows.

Clam juice just is not the same as the beer drinking....ooops
Well I think it lacked some content but, a good show in my boook. CYA next week.....shredder88
